The Creative Power in the Word of God

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

There is power in the word of God, the power to create out of nothing (Romans Chapter 4 verses 17 to 25, Genesis Chapter 1). Examples include the creation story where God created the universe out of a formless empty space covered by darkness. God created life and beauty by His Spirit through the spoken word, and God said, let there… and there was.

The word of God also has the capacity to give life to what appears dead and to make impossibilities possibilities. The prophet Ezekiel prophesied the word of God as directed by the Spirit of God and the very dry bones, long dead and forgotten in the valley of dry bones came alive as a powerful army of God. As Ezekiel prophesied, the spoken word of God that does not return to God void accomplished divine purpose by restructuring the bones and activating lives in them. Please see Ezekiel Chapter 37 verses 1 to 14, Isaiah Chapter 55 verses 8 to 11.

Beloved, God is able to restore life back to whatever appears dead in any area of your life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Through the power of the spoken word of God, every stagnation and seeming lack of progress in any area of your life will give way to great progressive movements that will birth overflowing abundance in your life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. This is the day which God made to put a new song of great joy and celebration in your mouth. Celebrate this day with thanksgiving and watch God unleash the floodgates of divine abundance, uncommon favor and awesome deliverance in your life in the mighty name of Jesus. God is always able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you can ever ask or think of in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Instructively, the spoken word of God is powerful because the word is spirit; the word carries life; and does not return to God without accomplishing the task for which the word is sent. Please see John Chapter 6 verse 63, Isaiah Chapter 55 verses 8 to 13, note verse 11, Genesis Chapters 3 verses 14 to 15; 17 verses 15 to 19,; 18 verses 9 to 15; 21 verses 1 to 3, 15 verses 12 to 14, Exodus Chapters 3 verses 7 to 22; 12 verses 30 to 42, 51, Hebrews Chapter 4 verse 12. Jesus is the word of God – John Chapter 1 verses 1 to 14, Revelation Chapter 19 verse 13, Ephesians Chapter 3 verses 9 to 11, 2 verse 10, Hebrews Chapter 11 verse 3, Romans Chapter 4 verse 17, Isaiah Chapter 55 verses 8 to 13, Numbers Chapter 23 verse 19, 1st Samuel Chapter 15 verse 29.

The word of God also has power to lead/guide/direct the children of God who know and understand the word; obey the word to divine abundance and fruitfulness as evidenced by the testimonies recorded in 2nd Kings Chapter 4 verses 1 to 7, 2nd Kings Chapter 7 verses 1 to 19 and Genesis Chapter 26.

The word of God has power to multiply and compound insignificant resources to abundant resources. Again, the testimony of the widow of the indebted prophet whose seeming insignificant jar of oil multiplied and compounded into several vessels of oil is instructive. Please  read 1st Kings Chapter 17 verses 9 to 16, 2nd Kings Chapters 3 verses 42 to 44, 4 verses 1 to 7, Matthew Chapters 14 verses 15 to 21 and 16 verses 32 to 38.

Finally build whatever God wants you to build, develop and create with the word of God. Call forth with the word of God as was done by the Almighty and His team in Genesis Chapter 1. The word of God is creative and creates. Besides, God will not fail you. Please see Hebrews Chapter 11 verse 3, 2nd Peter Chapter 3 verses 5 to 6, Genesis Chapter 1, Ezekiel Chapter 37, John Chapter 1 verses 1 to 14, 1st Kings Chapter 18 verses 41 to 46, Job Chapter 14 verses 7 to 9, 22 verse 28, Psalm 119 verse 89.
