A
number of nations are experiencing different types of challenges and problems
that range from spiritual, political, economic, environmental, health, social
malaise, food insecurity bordering on hunger and famine. All forms of tensions
threaten peace and development. Governments, citizens and religious leaders
seek solutions and experiment with proffered solutions. Unfortunately, some of
these supposed solutions fail in the face of teeming challenges that show up
with different faces almost on a daily basis. They include economic recessions,
political instability, threats of war as nations try and test the military
prowess of each other and even take steps further to try each other’s patience;
terrorism, natural disasters destroying lives and property, youth restiveness,
trafficking in persons, drug addiction, escalating poverty particularly the
huge walls growing between the haves and have nots; and who knows what next.
Beloved,
in the midst of all these, one is tempted to ask if solutions exist anywhere
and if these problems can ever be resolved. Sure, they can but certainly not by
physical, military, economic or intellectual prowess. They can only be resolved
by the Spirit of God and that is where the gift of faith, one of the nine gifts
of the Holy Spirit comes in. The gift of faith can bring about great and rapid
as well as lasting healings to nations if utilized as directed by the Holy
Spirit.
Great
apostles of faith such as Moses, Abraham, Joseph, Elijah, Elisha, Daniel,
Nehemiah, Ezra, Haggai, Deborah, Paul, Peter, Smith Wigglesworth and Kathryn
Kuhlman and numerous others exercised the gift of faith to bring about
multidimensional healings in different nations of the world. Modern day
apostles of faith include but are not limited to Billy Graham, Benny Hinn and many others.
It
takes great faith, in fact the gift of faith to stand in the gap in prayers, to
make prophetic declarations, take prophetic walks and carry out many other
prophetic actions for the healing of nations. Additionally, thanking God for the healing of
nations even when the overwhelming and brutal facts staring you in the face
speak of the utter hopelessness mirrored by the very many dry bones in
Ezekiel’s valley of dry bones in Ezekiel Chapter 37 also takes great faith.
Only absolute faith and confidence in God and His word can make anyone pray,
speak healings and thank God in such situations.
Therefore, do not neglect the spiritual gift of
faith God blessed you with for bringing healing, restoration, peace, deliverance
and salvation to peoples and nations through
whatever ministry platforms you are privileged and opportune to serve
in. Accept, appreciate and celebrate this great gift from God as well as your
ministry platform to achieve the plans and purposes of God for your life. Be a
blessing to the nations of the world bringing healing, peace and restoration to
the nations of the world in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
It is when the mustard seed is sown on the ground
that it grows up and becomes great, shooting out large branches for birds of
the air to take shade. In like manner, it is as you activate and work the gift
of faith that the gift will grow and keep growing, becoming great, very great,
shooting out large branches globally, raising men and women and children
committed to healing the nations. Deploy the gift
of faith to advantage by deploying the gift for God’s divine purposes for your
life so that nations can be healed.
Otherwise the gift would drain and you would labor in vain. But if you
sustain the gift through diligence, nations will be healed and there will be
expansion, spiritually, physically and materially.
