Enjoy God’s wall of Fire

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha
For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her. Zechariah Chapter 2 verse 5

Violence, anarchy, bloodletting, warfare, armed robbery, kidnapping, piracy are not new.  They have always been part of man from the beginning of creation. Cain killed his brother Abel because he was jealous of Abel’s success. Thereafter, bloodletting in diverse forms has been insisting on becoming the norm of life.

God the Creator and owner of the universe offers to be a wall of fire around you, your loved ones, your home, building, compound and estate. It is the greatest privilege and honor in life because God takes over all your battles so that you can rest and give Him the glory. He fights your battles and barricades the enemy from accessing you or anything that belongs to you.

Everything created by God can become either a weapon of destruction or safety and security in the hands of God depending on what divide a person is in. Fire destroys, consumes people that God is angry with. That same fire also becomes a wall of divine defence, security and peace to the people of God when God chooses to be a wall of fire around His people.

God’s wall of fire is an impenetrable fortress because God’s wall of fire is God Himself and nothing, no one no matter how powerful, how numerous can break through God. Every power bows to God. Besides, God does not move alone – the innumerable company of angels, heavenly hosts and chariots of fire that accompany God will mop up any force contending with the person God is protecting. Therefore, do not fear. When God comes down as a wall of fire around you, then nothing can come against you because God is watching over you with His love and compassion.

God is still in the business of taking care of His own, protecting them and securing their lives. He is the only defence and security system that never fails, cannot be tampered with, is not affected or impacted by anything whatsoever, is indestructible and most importantly, reliable and dependable.

God is the miracle worker in every area of life. However, He expects you to be an active participant in the divine defence and security processes of your life. He wants you to take advantage of the prophetic word in the Bible about divine defence and security to your advantage. The prophetic word is designed for you to take and use, to challenge and root out circumstances that dare to challenge the truth of God’s Word. You need to be courageous to do this which was why He told Joshua to be courageous after Joshua was commissioned to take over Jericho and the other cities of Canaan.

Some of the fierce oppositions the Apostle Paul experienced were also targeted at terminating his life so he would not achieve purpose. Please see 2nd Corinthians Chapter 11 verses 23 to 33, Acts Chapter 23 verses 11 to 35. But God kept him safe.

King David experienced numerous threats to his life – the lions and bears that came after the flock; Goliath; Saul; his son, Absalom as well as the many nations he waged war with. David outlived every one of them. In spite of all these, David lived to a very old age and passed on after he had served the purpose of God for his life. No enemy, no weapon of the enemy, no evil intent of the enemy against his life saw the light of day.

No matter how strong, fortified, numerous the enemy appears to be, they can never be as strong, fortified and numerous as you are because God is with you and when God is with you, you are an unconquerable army (Numbers Chapter 14 verse 9, 2nd Chronicles Chapter 32 verses 7 to 8, 20 to 22, 2nd Kings Chapter 6 verses 14 to 20) because you are surrounded by God and His heavenly host, an army that no one dare come against. Therefore, do not fear when you have God with you. God always has an answer to whatever challenges the enemy throws up. He will always protect you making you and everything that belongs to you inaccessible to your enemies. He chose to be a wall of fire around you; a fortress that the enemy and his cohorts cannot break into. An impenetrable wall of defense where you are safe and secure in His hands, shielded from the enemy and his evil plans in Jesus mighty name.
