GRACE

“But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called [me] by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood” Galatians Chapter verses 15 and 16.

 “But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Ephesians Chapter 4 verse 7.”

The grace of God which is always sufficient also empowers the recipients’ of God’s grace to live holy and sanctified lives. The principles for living holy lives are not in the stratosphere. They are in the word of God, which a diligent search will give to you and the grace of God will empower to live holy to the glory of God. Ask God for the grace today.

God invested His grace in Paul and that grace was not in vain. It was used for the plans and purposes of God to glorify the name of God. Please see 1^st Corinthians Chapter 15 verses 1 to 11. The Apostle Paul abounded in grace. The grace of God in your life should be used to advance the kingdom of God. Ministry is about labor – the grace of God in your life is to enable you to labor in the kingdom of God and for the kingdom of God; for the establishment of His plans and purposes.

Do you really deserve such love and uncommon favor, bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, so that you will be free of all the ills the enemy threw at you? If yes, then take advantage of the great grace of God to you. The unmerited favor of God to you should never be taken for granted. God in His infinite mercy chose to grant you grace in spite of your trespasses. This grace is sufficient for everything you could ever ask for in life. 

Consecrate Yourself to God

A consecrated person is more likely to be used of God to bring healing to the nations. Consecration means usable by the Master. It is one thing to be used by God to do things in the house of God without sanctification and another to be used by God, which is to minister to God and minister the grace of God to the people of God. It is impossible to be consecrated without being sanctified. You should therefore ensure that you do not serve around the temple but in the temple. The prophet Samuel was both sanctified and consecrated. If Jesus sanctified himself, then you should also sanctify yourself. Let this be your desire and commitment. Please see Romans Chapter 6 verse 22, John Chapter 17 verse 19. 

Sanctification is to be set apart by God for God unto a holy life. Sanctification is separation from an unholy life. Sanctification is a purging process that is facilitated by the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer filled with the Holy Spirit and is submissive to the Holy Spirit at all times. Please see Romans Chapter 15 verse 16. Sanctification is your conscious effort to please God. It is your progressive growth to conform to Jesus Christ. Please see Philippians Chapter 2 verse 12, Acts Chapter 13 verses 2 and 3 and John Chapter 17 verse 17. Sanctification is progressive and it is your responsibility. Sanctification in speech is also important. A call to sanctification is a call to promotion. Salvation motivates sanctification. There can be no sanctification if there is no salvation. It is therefore important not to underscore salvation. Please see 2^nd Timothy Chapter 2 verses 20 to 22. Salvation is not a feeling because feelings change. You don’t feel salvation; you know it and you must have the assurance. A Christian life should consist of salvation, sanctification and consecration.

Schools of belief and opinions differ on sanctification and salvation. Please see 1^st Corinthians Chapter 6 verse 11 and James Chapter 1 verses 22 to 25. Sanctification begins with salvation and is progressive based on James Chapter 1 verses 22 to 25. The motivation for sanctification and consecration is salvation.  A life that is not saved cannot be sanctified and cannot be consecrated.

Heal Nations with the Presence of God

The presence of God carries the power of God – Psalm 68 verse 1. The Presence of God is in the Word of God. That is why the Word of God does not return to Him void. The manifest presence of God is in the Word of God. To receive His manifest presence in our midst, we must be truly prepared for Him, consecrated and sanctified. When we are dealing, interacting with the Word of God, we are dealing, interacting with the Person, one of the Personalities of the Godhead who does not lie (1^st Samuel Chapter 15 verse 29, Numbers Chapter 23 verse 19); who does not fail (Isaiah Chapter 55 verses 8 to 13) and because He does not change, He makes good every wonderful promise He makes to us.

The Presence of God is not in carefully chosen songs or in certain practiced ways of singing, drumming, dancing, preaching or walking. The Presence of God is in a person’s total yielded-ness to God; to allow God through His Holy Spirit and His word to always have His way in your life irrespective of what you think appears better. Give God the space and He will live in you and your heart at all times. The presence of God is in His word because God is the word made flesh. See John Chapter 1 verses 1 to 5. The ultimate goal of Bible study is fellowship with God, to know God – grow in the knowledge and understanding of God. It is not a legalistic ritual that compels or obliges God to provide for us, protect us or expand us. Rather, it is a daily meeting of reaffirming our love and commitment to God.
