GRACE

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

“But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called [me] by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood” Galatians Chapter verses 15 and 16.
“But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Ephesians Chapter 4 verse 7.”

The grace of God which is always sufficient also empowers the recipients’ of God’s grace to live holy and sanctified lives. The principles for living holy lives are not in the stratosphere. They are in the word of God, which a diligent search will give to you and the grace of God will empower to live holy to the glory of God. Ask God for the grace today.

God invested His grace in Paul and that grace was not in vain. It was used for the plans and purposes of God to glorify the name of God. Please see 1st Corinthians Chapter 15 verses 1 to 11. The Apostle Paul abounded in grace. The grace of God in your life should be used to advance the kingdom of God. Ministry is about labor – the grace of God in your life is to enable you to labor in the kingdom of God and for the kingdom of God; for the establishment of His plans and purposes.

Do you really deserve such love and uncommon favor, bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, so that you will be free of all the ills the enemy threw at you? If yes, then take advantage of the great grace of God to you. The unmerited favor of God to you should never be taken for granted. God in His infinite mercy chose to grant you grace in spite of your trespasses. This grace is sufficient for everything you could ever ask for in life.

Be Sensitive to the Holy Spirit to Intercede

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

He is the Spirit of grace and supplication (Zechariah Chapter 12 verse 10, Luke Chapter 2 verse 40, and Romans Chapter 8 verses 26 to 28).

All the intercessors mentioned in the Bible had the Holy Spirit without measure. That is why they prayed the purposes of God and His perfect will. Jesus, the perfection of intercession and the perfect intercessor was and is full of the Holy Spirit. Please see Isaiah Chapter 11 verse 2, Matthew Chapters 1 verse 20; 3 verse 16, 4 verse 1, Luke Chapters 1 verse 35; 4 verses 18 to 19, Romans Chapter 8 verse 34, Hebrews Chapter 7 verse 25.

The Apostle Paul, a great man of prayer, writing by the Holy Spirit instructed believers to pray without ceasing. Please see 1st Thessalonians Chapter 5 verse 17, Ephesians Chapter 6 verse 18; thereby reiterating what Jesus taught in Luke Chapter 18 verse 1. Beloved, PRAY! PRAY!! PRAY!!!; NOT BY MIGHT BUT BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD.

Anna the prophetess spent her days and nights in prayers and fasting. Significantly, the Bible does not record that Anna was praying for her children or properties. She was widowed at a young age yet she spent her days and nights interceding for the kingdom of God; the plans and purposes of God; the perfect will of God to be established. Prophetess Anna was able to do this because she was filled with the Spirit of grace and supplication and she also respected and honored the Spirit of grace and supplication. Please see Luke Chapter 2 verses 36 to 37.

So also was Simeon who recognized Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit. Please see Luke Chapter 2 verses 25 to 32.

The Sacrifice of Praise for Healing the Nations 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Continually offer the sacrifice of praise even as the Israelites offered sacrifices daily. As priests unto God, this is a major daily sacrifice. Aaron and his sons were consecrated as priests to minister unto God – Exodus Chapters 28 verse 41, 29 verse 44, 40 verses 13 to 15, Leviticus Chapter 7 verses 35. Jesus Christ made us kings and priests to God – Revelation Chapter 5 verses 10, 1st Peter Chapter 2 verses 5, 9.

Give Praise to the Lord so that the earth will yield her increase – there is a connection between praise and increase – Psalm 67, Isaiah Chapter 63 verse 7.

Father, please have mercy on the nations of the world and all of us; and forgive the nations of the world the sin of not acknowledging You as God and consequently not giving You the praise that is due Your Holy name. We acknowledge our sin and are truly sorry, Lord. We ask for mercy, forgiveness and cleansing by the blood of Jesus Christ in Jesus mighty name.

Father, thank You for forgiving and cleansing the nations of the world of sin. We ask for the grace and wisdom to always praise You, Lord so that our lives and lands will yield increase and abundance to the glory of Your Holy name, Lord in Jesus mighty name. Please see Psalm 85 verse 2.

The Responsibility for Leadership

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Leaders are motivated by service, not power. Leaders add value to others by serving them, not by lording it over them. John Maxwell.

True leadership comes by genuine unadulterated service to God and humanity. At various levels, everyone created by God is a leader endowed with divine gifts for leadership albeit service to God and humanity.

To lead effectively, you have to identify your divine gifts for service so that you will provide the right service and leadership. Leaders who have no gifts or people who have not identified their gifts for service are not leaders but rulers who impose themselves on humanity and have nothing to offer the people. They are usually the ones who cannot provide any sense of direction. Rather, they impose hard to obey rules culminating in fear in the land in the bid to coax the people into forced submission.

His Grace

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Amazing, Abounding, yet free
Yours for the taking
If only you will stretch out your hands
And put them in His
As He leads and guides you
In the ancient paths of
Justice, love, holiness
Paid for by Jesus Christ.

GRACE
Grace?
Not for me.
I have all it takes
Money, beauty, great intellect
What else can anyone ask for?
Morals?
I do not drink, smoke, or fornicate
I do not tell lies, cheat or defraud
Really?
Yes
Great but you need grace
The grace of God
For salvation by faith and freedom from SIN
Surrender it all TODAY and enjoy GRACE
The great work of God.

Healing Streams 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Beloved, you and I can become God’s vessels of healing streams if we yield ourselves completely to God and allow Him to purge us of every pollution that could interfere or hinder His healing flow through our lives. Take for instance these very instructive Scripture references Proverbs Chapters 11 verses 18 to 20; 15 verse 7. A person with a caustic tongue who does not care about the emotions of other people can be not likely carry God’s healing flows because his or her caustic tongue will inflict wounds that may never heal in the hearts of people if God does not intervene. The Bible records in that same Proverbs Chapter 11 verses 18b that the tongue of the wise promotes health. How?

According to the Bible, the tongue of the wise or learned given to him or her by God knows how to speak a word in season to whoever is weary. Please see Isaiah Chapter 50 verses 4 to 5. This is further corroborated in Isaiah Chapters 52 verse 7; 61 verses 1 to 4, Luke Chapter 4 verses 18 to 19. A person’s tongue brings healing to people by proclaiming good tidings, peace, salvation, glad tidings of good things, the Lordship of God over everyone and all things, the sovereignty of God, the power of God. Such proclamations bring hope, joy and happiness, healing to the broken hearted and the nations, liberty to those who are mentally and spiritually caged, bring comfort and joy to those who mourn, praise to those whose spirits are heavy. Beloved, Scriptures in Proverbs Chapters 15 verses 4, 7, 30; 12 verse 25; 17 verse 22; 18 verse 4 and 20 verse 15 corroborate this.

You carry God’s grace for healing the nations and that grace is the key to your financial abundance. The enemy attempts to stop you by polluting your mental processes so that the grace of God does not flow because it is when the grace flows that overwhelming abundance flows to you. Lying tongues, deceptive tongues as well as hearts laden with envy, pride, jealousy, bitterness, resentment and tale bearing cannot carry the healing flows of God. Please see Proverbs Chapters 26 verses 18 to 28, Hebrews Chapter 12 verse 15 and Matthew Chapter 12 verses 34 to 37. All of these are like polluted streams which do not bring healing because the water is polluted and polluted waters cause death and barrenness. The polluted water of Jericho is a classic example. It made the land unproductive and caused barrenness but after it was healed, the land became productive and there was an end to deaths caused by the water. Beloved, the flow from your spirit, soul and body on account of your mental processes, utterances and actions can make other people productive or barren depending on what you project and convey. On the other hand, a vessel or conduits of God’s healing streams should make every attempt to ensure that the stream is not polluted. This is because any form of pollution will make it difficult or impossible to fulfill your calling in life.

The Place of Intercession in the Healing of the Nations

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Intercession is not a one off event. It is an ongoing activity that you continue doing until the will of God is established (Isaiah Chapter 62 verses 6 to 9).

The basis of intercession is the word of God therefore every intercessor must know and understand the word of God and desire that the word of God takes root in the hearts of people so that their lives are transformed to Christ-likeness. Intercessors respond to situations according to the Word of God – God heals all diseases so they pray for healing. Jesus is the savior so they pray for people to be receptive to and surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, pray for Christians to mature in Christ Jesus.

Intercession is a work of the Holy Spirit therefore no one can lay claim to being an intercessor. This is because intercession is the work of the Holy Spirit and because the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ (Romans Chapter 8 verse 9), intercession is an ongoing work by both Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Please see Romans Chapter 8 verses 34, 26 to 27, Hebrews Chapter 7 verse 25, and Isaiah Chapter 59 verse 19. He is the one who lifts a standard and that explains why intercessors have to keep asking God for mercy because only Christ who died for the redemption of man can actually condemn (Romans Chapter 8 verse 34a and if Christ who paid the supreme price for the redemption of man through the shameful death on the cross is always interceding and not condemning, we have absolutely no right to judge and condemn.  Rather, we should request grace from God to intercede because God wants all people to come to repentance and life in Christ Jesus. Please see Matthew Chapter 18 verses 11 to 14, 2nd Peter Chapter 3 verse 9, 1st Timothy Chapter 2 verses 1 to 6, James Chapter 5 verses 19 to 20, Jude 22 to 23, 1st John Chapter 5 verses 10 to 21.

Intercession should not be made for sin leading to death (2nd Timothy Chapter 4 verses 14 to 15, 1st Thessalonians Chapter 4 verse 8, Romans Chapter 8 verses 1 to 32, 2nd Thessalonians Chapter 2 verses 1 to 12, Hebrews Chapter 6 verses 1 to 8 and 2nd Peter Chapter 2 verses 1 to 25.
