ministry but this was only possible because God was with him at all times.

Gideon was also surrounded with the
presence of God and accomplished the divine feat of crushing Midian and ending

The people of Israel always enjoyed

God blessed the leaders of Judah and
the Judeans with His holy presence. They were able to complete the rebuilding
of the temple despite the fierce opposition and other challenges they faced.

The presence of God demands serious responsibility. No sin thrives in the presence of God. It is impossible to flee from the presence of God. Jonah attempted to do so but was hedged in by God. Even in the sea, the presence of God was there. How? God prepared a fish to swallow Jonah. But significantly, Jonah who thought he could run to Spain away from the presence of God sought God in the sea in the belly of a fish. Please see Jonah Chapter 2. Jonah was spared and he delivered God’s message to the people of Nineveh and they were spared. You may also be required of God to carry His holy presence so that you will be used by Him to bring healing to the nations of the world. God bless you as you do so in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Consequences of not having the
presence of God
Defeat, shame, humiliation, losses.
Please read Joshua Chapter 7, please note verse 12. Israel was defeated by Ai
because God was not with them. When the Israelites attempted to go against the
Canaanites after violating the commands of God by insisting on a return to
Egypt on account of the negative reports of the land fed them by the ten spies
(Numbers Chapter 14 verses 40 to 45),
Samson was humiliated by the
Philistines after his hair was shorn and the Spirit of God left him – Judges
Chapter 16 verses 20 to 21.
